Tour Description:

Full Trail Paine is an unmissable adventure for every intrepid visitor of Southern Patagonia.

An excursion that links the Argentine Patagonia with the Chilean Patagonia, in a trip through time designed so that you can enjoy unique natural wonders in the world in the most personal way possible.

Two days in constant movement around forests, lakes, rivers, mountains, glaciers and millenary landscapes free from the hand of man and at your disposal.

Day 1:

It all starts early in the morning, when our transfer picks up each passenger at their respective hotel. Once on board, we go to the border crossing of Cancha Carrera, to enter the mountain range and then enter the Republic of Chile.

After a few hours, we will enjoy lunch at Villa Cerro Castillo, and then head towards the perfect postcard: the majestic Laguna Amarga, located in the valley of Cerro Toro.

This incredible water mirror, whose colors are a homogeneous mixture between green and blue, is trapped between impressive massifs, and got its name because its water has a high PH value, which in turn causes it to ingest it, this Have a characteristic flavor. Here the glaciers carve the landscape, forming spectacular towers, ridges and beautiful and immense valleys.

To continue with the tour we will find the impressive Paine Waterfall, in the homonymous river.

There you can witness a splendid visual frame of the French Glacier, which hangs more than a thousand meters from the highest peak of the complex: the eternally snowy Paine Grande, which can be seen after bordering Lake Nordenskjol, passing through the imposing mole of the Main Horn.

In this way, we access the viewpoints that lead to the Salto Grande, the latter is a waterfall about ten meters high that merges with Lake Pehoe to where we will walk about 400 meters to appreciate it.

We will continue towards the Serrano River, entering the Lenga and ñire forests, which largely comprise the fabulous Magellanic Pampa, to make a stop at the Mirador del Lago Toro from where we can appreciate the mouth of the Paine River and the Serrano River.

On the horizon you will see the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, and always having the wonderful Paine Massif as a backdrop.

Finally, and after having enjoyed these wonderful scenarios we will continue to the city of Puerto Natales, at dusk and taking with us an unforgettable experience. We will stay at the selected hotel in Puerto Natales; capital of the Province of Ultima Esperanza.

Day 2

Meet the Milodon Caves (Optional excursion not included in the pack)

On the morning of the next day, we offer you the opportunity to go to know the famous Milodon Caves, an optional excursion and with a separate cost that lasts approximately half a day, in which each one can fully know the Natural Monument, located just so 24 kms from the city of Puerto Natales.

The departure is at 08:30 hrs from the place of accommodation of each of the passengers. The transfer to the goal takes approximately 30 minutes, there we will check-in and then we will go to the sector called “Cueva Chica”, where flashlights will be provided to explore this cavern.

Then, the mobile goes to the parking of the "Silla del Diablo", a large conglomerate of rock which can be climbed to admire from the top the beautiful surroundings of the sector. This is where the trek to the "Cueva del Medio" begins, crossing forests in a trekking of about 45 minutes (round trip).

Finally, transport will take passengers to the main cavern, without doubt the most visited of the 3 caves, where today thousands of tourists are photographed with the replica that is inside. The return to the city is estimated at 12 noon.

Tip: Keep your camera ready at all times, there is no detail of this beautiful landscape that is not worth documenting. Besides, you never know what animal we can find. Besides, you never know what animal we can find.

The trip takes approximately 6 hours, depending on the congestion in the Chilean / Argentine Border.

Take advantage and stay tuned!

Laguna Amarga

Meet this imposing water mirror. Its name is due to the bitter taste of its waters, since these have a high content of salts, which are concentrated by evaporation, leaving a white and soft layer on the riverbank, which contrasts with the color of the waters and with the colonies of flamingos that live in it during the summer.

Paine waterfall

This incredible waterfall is located on the Paine River, in the Laguna Amarga sector, next to the path that leads to Laguna Azul. From that point you can see the spectacular Torres del Paine.

Pehoe Lake

This lake is a beautiful attraction in our tour. The crystalline of its waters give it an incomparable landscape beauty, a scenario that is perfectly complemented by a large number of animal species and a unique vegetation.

Patagonian Ice Field

You are a lover of gastronomy and culinary arts. Enjoy lunch or snack in the excellent restaurant of the Glacier, rebuilt again recently.

Milodón Caves

The natural monument Cueva del Milodón is a natural monument made up of three caves in the Southern Zone of Chile, where remains of milodones, large herbivorous mammals were found that were probably extinguished at the end of the Pleistocene.
